A Happy, Uncomfortable New Year!

Proverb: a short well-known saying that expresses an obvious truth and often offers advice. An old Tibetan proverb may have saved the early quantum physicists some angst, particularly Werner Heisenberg, the discoverer of the uncertainty principle. The proverb states,

“To be uncertain is uncomfortable. To be certain is foolish.”

Because nothing in the universe is certain,

I wish you all a happy, uncomfortable New Year!
